Italy, XX Century

Art Deco sideboard made of walnut and walnut burl, from Italy in the second quarter of the 20th century. The backsplash is embellished with beveled and etched glass, enhancing the refinement of the design, while the moldings and ebonized spherical feet lend a touch of elegance. The base is distinguished by a carved and ebonized molding under the top, harmoniously complementing the three doors with ebonized frames, a detail that extends to the sides of the sideboard. The plinth feet are supported by ebonized spheres, creating a visual contrast that emphasizes the Art Deco style. This sideboard represents a significant example of Italian craftsmanship from the Art Deco era, combining fine materials with a distinctive and functional design.

Piedmont XX Century

This Piedmontese walnut trumeau features an elegant blend of antique and 20th-century elements. The antique drop-leaf base features maple inlays added later, further enhancing its charm. The 20th-century upper part features a pair of paneled doors inlaid with maple scrollwork, a motif that harmoniously repeats across the entire surface of the piece. A central inlay of various woods depicts a rural scene with a lady and knight, a theme also found on the central drop-leaf door. This door, when opened, reveals an internal cabinet with five drawers and an open compartment. The base is completed by a pair of drawers and pulls that support the drop-leaf door, while the curved feet and wrought bronze escutcheons and handles add a touch of refinement.

English-style oak bookcase. The front features a four-door glass shelf, while the lower section features three drawers in the band and three doors, the central one adorned with false drawers. The central section juts out.

Chinoiserie-style mahogany cabinet, partially lacquered and painted. Carved cornice, front with eight drawers and a drop-down door concealing a glass-topped compartment, used as a bar. Shaped lower band, curved legs, maple interior. Decorated with oriental-style scenes.

France, Mid XX Century

A pair of neoclassical-style half-moon mahogany sideboards. Different marble tops, a front with a drawer and a central door, and fluted truncated cone legs topped with bronze feet. Decorated with applied bronzes, leafy and rosette motifs, and lacquered and painted inserts. The side inserts depict a basket containing flowers, held by a bow, while the central one depicts a female figure with a flower basket, dressed in Greek style and clearly neoclassical in style.
