This sideboard with a pedestal, designed by Silvio Coppola for Bernini in the 1960s and 1970s, is an example of mid-century Italian design. Crafted from walnut veneer, it features a sturdy structure with hinged door compartments at the bottom, offering ample storage space. The pedestal, with open compartments, includes original Bernini-branded ceramics, adding a distinctive and authentic touch. The overall condition is good, with a patina that reflects its age and use. This piece fits perfectly in environments that emphasize vintage aesthetics and functionality.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Neoclassical bedside table, late 18th century, Lombardy. The piece of furniture is veneered in citronnier, maple, boxwood and other light woods for the inlays; both the front where the door is housed and the sides are made with a lowered central panel in citronnier, with an octagonal reserve in the centre enclosed by a moulded and inlaid frame; the reserves on a maple background have an architectural inlay with capricci, temples, statues and figures. The panels are inserted in a double frame with a brass-plated frame and citronnier veneer arranged head-on and in a herringbone pattern. An inlaid frame in the base delimits the four truncated pyramid feet and another supports the top in which a top in green alps marble is set. Missing parts and restorations, walnut interior. The piece of furniture is similar to the production of Giovanni Maffezzoli although it does not reach the quality of the Cremonese master in inlay.

Emilia Romagna, XVII Century

Italy, XIX Century

A pair of 19th-century Italian columns, characterized by an elegant combination of fine materials. The base and capital are made of yellow breccia, lending a warm and welcoming tone. The shafts of the columns are made of pink granite, providing strength and a refined color contrast. One of the columns has a visible repair, the result of a previous breakage, but this does not compromise their stability and historic charm. These architectural elements are ideal for enhancing entryways, halls, or period gardens, integrating perfectly into classical or eclectic settings.

Italy, Late XIX Century

Pair of large self-supporting eclectic shelves in carved and gilded wood, Italy third quarter 19th century. Shaped tops covered in velvet, uprights made up of a shaped back part against which, on the front, are carved pilaster-style architectural elements in Baroque style, the latter composed of "S"-shaped volutes with curls at the ends. The pilasters are also decorated with leaf elements and floral festoons held together by ribbons. Partially recovered gilding.

18th Century / 1701 - 1800

Sideboard with a semi-circular front. Supported by four truncated pyramid shaped uprights with vase-shaped feet, it has a narrow under the top drawer in the middle part, while there are two more thin drawers on the sides, under which there are two larger service drawers, on the corners there are two decorated doors that imitate the front of the drawers. Mahogany with mahogany feather banded veneer in the front, with maple and ebony threading, a carved maple reserve decorates the uprights; the drawers and the doors are enriched with an ebony thread on the edges, as well as the border of the mahogany head of the top; the top is a single mahogany board. The handles are gilded bronze pendants with a central rosette. On the back of the top there are inserts for the fastening of the brass beams that were supposed to hold the lights and other service equipment.

Inlaid cabinet

Carlo X style armoire, featuring an elegant structure with a single door and a lower drawer. The rectangular base, supported by vase-shaped feet, presents a sober design, while the upper part is embellished with a light cornice. The two full-round spiral columns on the sides of the door add a distinctive element, framing the central mercury mirror. Made of bois de rose, with bois de rose details, the armoire is finely inlaid with anthemion and scroll motifs, which also decorate the cornice of the pediment. The latter features an inlaid Greek key, while the door frame is enriched with a gilded molding. Maple frames harmoniously separate the different woods, while gilded bronzes adorn the bases and capitals of the columns and the lock escutcheons. The door lock, signed F. Vago in Milan, is an example of craftsmanship.
