Description : San Michele Arcangelo
Restored painting on board. Probably conceived as part of a bigger work, it depicts Michael the Archangel while defeating Satan. In the past it was attributed to Jacopo Carucci known as the Pontormo, in our opinion it may belong to a Tuscan shop, but there are any stylistic element that can be used to make a more precise allocation. Tuscan School, 16th Century.
