17th century - from 1601 to 1700

Bolognese baroque sideboard supported by shelf feet (redone in the front part), on the front it has two doors surmounted by five drawers placed in the undertop band and alternated with wavy shelves; decorated with carved tiles, while the undertop band is indented. In walnut, the sides are in elm, top in pear; interior in fir and poplar.

XVIII Century - from 1701 to 1800

Pair of big corner cabinets with rudentate pillars that end with pyramidal truncated feet and with a two-panels door. Their have ivory and blue lacquered frames on the panels while the frames of the upper molding and on the collars of the feet are silvered. In the middle of the panels there are medaillons painted with landscapes of buildings and hills in the backbround; the rose windows are hels by pink ribbons and sourmounted by a basket of flowers in the middle. Coeval iron keyholes. Original lacquering.

17th century - from 1601 to 1700

Small travel box in poplar wood covered with iron foil strips fixed through small studs. The metal bands are adorned with a decoration of plant racemes with flowers, made with a burin; in some points you can see traces of the ancient gilding, which originally had to completely cover the iron sheets. On the front, the metal plates have the shape of a lozenge, creating a refined play of contrast with the red of the velvet behind, now abraded.

XIX Century - from 1801 to 1900

Charles X living room consisting of console, dresser with a characteristic guitar shape, gueridon, sofa, dormeuse, pair of armchairs and a group of six chairs. Veneered in walnut, they are decorated with phytomorphic inlays in maple, the gueriodon, the console and the chest of drawers have a marble top. The design of the furniture and their ornaments are Palagian-inspired, derived from Pelagio Palagi, one of the most requested Bolognese architects by the high clients of the time.

XIX Century - from 1801 to 1900

Genoese library set attributable to Henry Thomas Peters, consisting of a large consultation table, book stand, wall cabinet with writing compartment and eight bookcases with racks, three of which are coupled, of different sizes; one of the pairs has two doors, which originally had a grate. The notches of the uprights all have slight differences in the design. The furniture is in mahogany and veneered in mahogany feather, with sessile oak interiors; the locks are marked "VAGO", an important Milanese company. The library is attributable to Peters for the style and high quality found in the carving, both of the curved uprights decorated with leaf motifs, and in the podded frames and lion feet that support the book stand. The taste of the carving is clearly of Palagian inspiration. Pelagio Palagi, a Bolognese architect, was in fact directly called by King Carlo Alberto to direct the modernization work of the Racconigi Castle. Under his guidance, Gabriele Capello known as Moncalvo and Henry Thomas Peters were also active for this commission. For the occasion, Peters created three wardrobes for the bedroom of Queen Maria Theresa, of which there are the drawings by Palagi who, in an autographed memory of 1934, recalls the execution by the English cabinetmaker. The famous King's desk is also attributed to Peters, whose carving of the uprights, the lion feet and the high quality allow to bring our furniture closer. Peters (1792-1852) was an English cabinetmaker, who moved permanently to Genoa in 1817, where, within a few years, he established himself as one of the main craftsmen, receiving important commissions from the most famous families of the time: Durazzo, Brignole Sale, De Mari, up to the aforementioned Savoy.

Lombard barocchetto chest of drawers supported by vase shaped frontal feets; it has 3 drawers and an addictional one in the undertop band; pillars at 45° Walnut burl veneered and decorated with ebonized frames, poplar and silver fir interiors.

Baroque chest of drawers from Piacenza, supported by shelf feet, on the front it has three drawers decorated with characteristic shaped and elongated panels with partially ebonized frames; the same carved panels are repeated on the sides and, with simplified shapes, also in the undertop band, alternating with shelves. The uprights are carved with a grotesque mask accompanied by ribbons and festoons, similar examples can be found in the pilasters of a large wardrobe from Sant'Agostino and today preserved in the Civic Museums of Palazzo Farnese in Piacenza and still in a chest of drawers in the sacristy of the church of the Castelnuovo Fogliani Castle. In walnut, the interiors are in poplar; the floor has undergone restorations.

Liberty rocking cradle in bent beech, designed by Jacob and Josef Kohn at the end of the 19th century. The shelf was added later.

Big trumeau assembled with antique wood. The sides are notched and serpentine, the front has a double serpentine shape and four drawers. It has a drop-down openable door which conceals a small compartment with two drawers. The upper part has two shaped doors with mirrors and a tall carved cymatium with mirror. Inside inlaid compartment with three drawers. Ebonized frames.
