What is this? the narrative?
The narrative is; a macro literary genre that encompasses many other branches of literature (fairy tales, biographies, poems, novels, stories and novels).
fiction books are interpreted as a description of an event, which happened in reality; or in the imagination, with the sole purpose of involving the reader.
Storytelling
In antiquity; there were various forms of narrative that were light years away from reality, such as myth.
These literary currents (contemporary fiction for example) did not always correspond to the truth, indeed, most were the result of the author’s fantasy and imagination.
All literary genres inherently possess the act of storytelling, with the exception of the essay, as opposed to the book of fiction.
Features of the narrative
Within a narrative text we find a series of events that are unified with the intention of creating a sort of continuity; to narrative history.
First of all, the characters are presented to the reader with their respective narrator, placed within a space or environment, and finally inserted in the literary frame that is the subject. the story.
