On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, the history of the renowned Italian company: 70 years of design, art and creativity linked to industry.Throughout its history Kartell, a leading company in the field of "culture of living", has focused its attention on the theme of research, innovation and the evolutionary processes of technology. Quality, design, industrial products have traced the path starting from the objects of domestic use that have revolutionized the history of post-war design, to the creation of the most sophisticated products that combine production technology and innovative materials. Immersive and vibrant, The Art Side of Kartell explores yesterday's visions of the "future" through objects, experiences and models of collective knowledge, archival materials and images, painting, installation and performance, documents, prototypes and new commissions in a dialectic that associates analytical and formal processes.A narrative journey that includes some of the most important chapters of Kartell's production, the book portrays the way the company has changed over the last seven decades, in parallel with the evolution of the many artistic currents of the 20th-century up to the contemporary expressive languages.
