The issue collects the 8 planches dedicated to the forging and casting of the typographical characters of the Encyclopedie, ou Dictionnaire Raisons des Sciences, les Arts Liberaux, et les Arts Mechaniques by Diderot and D'Alembert. The tables are preceded by 2 cc with the captions of each individual element of the planches. The three animated cartoons representing the foundries and laboratories from which the characters for printing came out are very fascinating
