Mid XVIII Century

Baroque walnut chest, Italy, mid-18th century. Tripartite front, decorated with rocaille style carvings and curls placed within reserves, uprights with forty-five degree pilasters carved in a curl. Restorations.

Italy, Early XVIII Century

Chest with a tripartite front in three carved panels with frames, the central one is decorated with phytomorphic motifs; the top is finished with a serrated frame. In walnut, the lion-like front feet have been replaced.

Neoclassical style boiserie

Console with mirror in neoclassical style made in the last quarter of the 19th century. Marble top macchia vecchia, the console has two carved bracket uprights with a bottom decorated with a vase of flowers with carved garlands. Neoclassical carved motifs also embellish the mirror which contains a painting on wood with a gallant scene in the cymatium. The entire surface is lacquered ivory with gilded parts especially in carving. In the bottom panel painted with gilding the festoon motif.

Rustic beech wood chest with barrel lid and carvings engraved on the front with the date 1899, wooden nailing.

Chinoiserie Sideboard

Small chinoiserie cabinet from the 20th century, lacquered in black and with floral designs with roses on the sides, engraved and painted. On the front, a courtship scene in a typical garden.

Oriental Screen

Small oriental decorative screen, in ebonized wood, central panels on the back covered in damask fabric, the front in silk with gold thread embroidery depicting a dragon.

Italy, Late XIX Century

Neo-Renaissance chest from the end of the 19th century. The structure, which refers to the typology of Renaissance chests, is made of wood covered in painted iron sheet, decorated with embossed plant motifs of clear Art Nouveau taste. Traces of the original color are still visible in some places. The trunk is also externally reinforced with wooden slats, while internally it is covered with contemporary paper. Lock and zips on the front. Small defects in the sheet metal covering.

Baroque chest from the early 18th century. Bipartite front with pilasters decorated with carvings of masks and scrolls, feral feet. Hinges initially replaced with ring hinges, original wrought iron lock, restorations.

Neo-Renaissance style cabinet in carved fruitwood, Italy, early 20th century. Front with upper band decorated with a masonry motif, briar veneered flap door with carved cartouche in the centre, ribbed middle band and turned and roughened column uprights.

Louis Philippe étagère supported by turned uprights, while the upper shelves rest on wavy uprights carved with leaf motifs; gilded, the upper part of the shaped shelves is lacquered.

Baroque chest supported by carved double bracket feet, the front is also richly decorated with carvings: large central blazon framed between two panels with geometric motifs and two lateral pilasters with angel heads and phytomorphic motifs. In walnut, it has restorations.
