Tables are essential pieces of furniture in any home. They are at the center of many shared moments. The dining table in the dining or living room is used for family meals, and it can also be used to host guests during parties. Depending on how and where you want to use it, you’ll need to decide which type of table to buy. For example, if the room is small, a large table might not fit, so you might go for a small table. If your household has four people, an extendable rectangular table could be a great option. It can be extended when guests come over so that everyone can sit comfortably. Depending on the space, you may also consider a round table instead of a rectangular one. This way, you save space and create a more intimate atmosphere for meals. When choosing a table, don’t just think about its use. During meals, the table may be covered with a tablecloth, but for most of the day, it remains uncovered. That’s why it’s also important to think about how to decorate your table. It can become a display piece with photos, vases, centerpieces, or lace doilies. A table should be both functional and visually appealing. It should set the mood for any occasion: family dinner, afternoon snack, romantic date, Sunday lunch, or dinner with friends. Finding the right one is not easy, but in our online catalog you can find a wide range of Antique, Mid-Century, and Designer Tables. You’re sure to find what suits you best. Plus, all our tables, like all items in our catalog, are available for rental. This way, you can find everything you need for your event, photo shoot, and more. With us, you get what you need, for as long as you need it.
Antique Tables
Antique tables have a long history. People have always looked for ways to gather and share daily life. Even in Ancient Greece and Rome, we find the first examples of antique tables. At first, they were simple planks on trestles, but over time they became more elaborate. The antique table was used not only in households but also outdoors, for instance in markets to display goods. The table was always considered an essential piece of furniture. It was usually covered with a cloth during meals, but still received intricate craftsmanship—especially in the legs of the tables. These often featured mythological figures or references to the gods. For Baroque tables, the wooden top was sometimes replaced by marble. Table shapes could even carry symbolic meaning. Rectangular tables often had the head of the family seated at the head; round tables, as in the legend of King Arthur, symbolized equality. Like other furniture, tables followed the style of the times. In our catalog, you can find:

Mid-Century and Design Tables
The indoor table takes up a central space in every home. That’s why choosing the right one is so important—it can define your home's entire style. Unlike antique tables, modern tables have simpler lines, bringing a lighter touch to any room. In the second half of the 20th century, home design changed dramatically. Furniture became accessible to everyone thanks to mass production. No longer crafted one-by-one by artisans, tables were now made in factories. Along with new materials, this allowed for more affordable furnishings. A new profession was born: the designer. During the 1900s, many designers experimented with new shapes and concepts for tables. Some of the most famous include: Tulip by Eero Saarinen for Knoll, Cavalletto by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for Azucena, LC6 by Le Corbusier for Cassina, Quaderna by SuperStudio for Zanotta, and many more. In our catalog, you’ll find:
- - 1950s Tables
- - 1960s Tables
- - 1970s Tables
- - 1980s Tables
- - Design Tables
