Italy, Second Quarter XIX Century

Ancient safe from the restoration period with internal walnut structure and iron cladding decorated with studs, Italy second quarter of the 19th century. Front with door decorated with lozenge elements and applied faces in classic bronze style; Steel door lock mechanism embellished with rosettes, leafy frets and engraved phytomorphic elements. Interior equipped with document compartments, six drawers, pair of shaped shelves and compartment located in the lower section, the latter hidden under a folding door with lock. Keys present. Small shortcomings.

Lucca, First Half XIX Century

Pair of walnut veneered empire chests of drawers, Lucca first quarter of the 19th century. Tops in shaped Verde Alpi marble, ebonized under-top band, three drawers on the front, herm uprights with caryatids with faces and feet in gilded bronze. Coffered feet embellished with carved and gilded tablet leaf elements and resting on ebonized plinths. The two golden perimeter frames are also made of pastille, one leafy and the other podded. Lion face handles in gilded bronze. Partially recovered gilding. Poplar interior.

Europe, Mid XVII Century

Small wooden travel box covered with iron foil straps fixed with small studs. The metal bands are adorned with a decoration of vegetal racemes with flowers, made in embossed and burin. Between the metal plates the casket is covered in worked leather and features a Greek decoration and vegetal motifs. Interior covered in fabric.

China, Late XIX Century

Porcelain stool, richly decorated on the entire surface with a dragon and a phoenix within circular reserves on a continuous background of meanders and frets. Various decorative bands interspersed with reserves with plants and fruit embellish the upper edge and the seat.

Japan XIX Century

Pair of refined candle holders with evocative porcelain subjects mounted on burnished and gilded bronze garden seats. The two "Erxian"brothers of Chinese origin but replicated in the Hirado factories in the 19th century hold candle holders in the form of plants with flowering branches. The bronze settings were most likely made in Europe.

Central Italy Late 17th-early 18th century

Small silk tapestry, with some applied inserts in painted canvas, corresponding to the faces and hands of the characters. The scene depicts Plato's Academy, with the philosopher sitting on the ground, his back against a tree, dressed in a cassock and a mantle that drapes him, with his right hand holding a tablet or parchment. He is intent on carrying out a philosophy lesson, with the young students who surround him and with one of whom he is speaking in particular. Behind a rural landscape inhabited by men who are doing agricultural work: some intent in sowing, some in harvesting and some, again, in cutting down a tree with an ax. In the background, to the right of the main group, a turreted construction can be seen, while to the left an ancient herm. Inserted in a coeval frame, molded in several orders with ebonized parts alternating with others veneered in tortoiseshell.

Italy, Last Quarter XVIII Century

Neoclassical mirror in carved and partially lacquered and gilded wood, Lombardy last quarter of the 18th century. Medallion frieze with love knot placed on the top, made with a ribbon and held by a float, and richly carved floral festoons; gilt moldings, mercury mirror. Decorated in the upper part with a cancurrent motif enriched with golden leaf elements, attributable to the iconographic repertoire of Giocondo Albertolli (Bedano 1742–Milan 1839), Swiss-Italian architect, decorator and teacher.

France Mid 1900s

Pair of lamps in cut crystal and bronze with fabric lampshades. Adhesive label of the manufacturer under the base of a lamp.

20th Century / 1901 - 2000

Chandelier in gilded bronze and ground glass. The open cartouche-shaped structure develops through 12 sliding arms with fluted bell-shaped candle holders and corolla-shaped bobeches over pierced acanthus jets, interspersed with 4 amethyst-colored terminals in the shape of an urn. The frame is centered by an urn-shaped column with a pinnacle terminal. Entirely decorated with transparent, amber and amethyst glass pendants, including a faceted sphere pendant. Attributable to Baccarat production.

Piacenza, Late XVIII Century

Pair of chests of drawers with walnut veneer, walnut root and bois de rose, maple and boxwood trim; inlaid rosettes with shading on tops, sides and fronts with three drawers. Retractable chain that allows the continuity of the inlay. Interior in fir and original locks. One seatback has been replaced.

Parma Mid 18th century

Baroque double body sideboard, supported by carved shelf feet, in the lower part it has four doors with tiles, also in the upper part there are four degrees doors, here decorated with characteristic tiles. Entirely lacquered in blue.

Japan, Meiji Era 1890 ca

Large polylobed cloisonné enamel plate decorated with multiple concentric orders. A delicate composition of flowers and birds decorate the central part, all in the style of Namikawa Yasuyuki.

18th Century / 1701 - 1800

Pair of neoclassical consoles from Piacenza, supported by truncated pyramidal legs ending with pear-shaped feet, in the upper part they are tightened by collars. Walnut.

Central Italy, Third Quarter XVIII Century

Antique frame in carved and gilded linden wood, central Italy, third quarter of the 18th century. Richly carved with vine leaves and bunches of grapes; in the top section it has a mobile flagpole decorated at the ends with pine cone-shaped plant elements.

Emilia Half XVIII Century

Group of four Baroque mirrors carved with scrolls and floral motifs, entirely gilded with leaf; the mercury mirrors (one broken) are etched, with figures of classical divinities.

18th Century / 1701 - 1800

Marie Theresa chandelier with 12 lights, dating back to the end of the 18th century. Iron branches, the supporting ones are covered in glass, the bobeches are in cast bronze. The chandelier is adorned with bevelled glass pendants and adorned with different motifs, alternating between them on the different floors. The central column was probably added in the 19th century.

Charles Table

Console from the Charles X period, made of walnut with maple inlays, uprights with opposing volutes rest on a base supported by curly feet, in the bottom an opening door gives access to some compartments. The whole surface is inlaid with phytomorphic motifs; white marble top.

China, Shunzhi Era (1644-1661)

Porcelain vase painted with wucai enamels within reserves with decoration of chrysanthemum plants and peonies on a very dense background with a fish scale motif painted in red.

Italy, Late XIX Century

Pair of portrait frames in bronze and semi-precious stones Enrico Bosi Florence. Enrico Bosi was active between 1850 and 1865 in Florence where he had his studio. He often worked together with other important figures such as Francesco Betti, Bianchini and the Buoninsigni brothers.
