Louis Vuitton hard suitcase Bisten 60 model in the iconic monogram canvas, dating back to the 1970s. The interior is lined and the handles are rounded in leather; the corners are made of brass and the edges are made of lozine, a very resistant volcanic fibre. Original S-shaped lock, reinforced by two additional locks inspired by trunk locks (key missing). The condition is very good, despite some very slight marks. Inside it has the authentic label bearing the unique product number (902222). Model currently out of production.

Paris, 1890-1910 ca.

A Louis Vuitton trunk dating from around 1890 to 1910, restored to its original condition. It is a tall women's trunk, a travel trunk designed to fit in the carriages and holds of ocean liners, often meeting standard dimensions to accommodate handling and storage needs. Covered in black carbonized canvas, the central lock and studs are branded brass, while the trim and side handles are black-painted iron.

Paris, 1899-1904

Louis Vuitton trunk dating from 1899 to 1904, covered in monogrammed jacquard tissée canvas. This type of fabric, used between 1896 and 1904, represents one of the most difficult coverings to find in good condition, precisely because of the short production period. Dating is also made possible thanks to the original label and the unique product number (145078). Painted metal finishes, central lock and brass studs. It is a malle cabine, or rather a small and compact trunk used to store clothing and everyday items inside, created to be stored under the bed of transatlantic cabins. Interior lined in printed paper, with cotton ribbon fixed under the lid. The initials “V. P”, placed externally on both short sides, provide information regarding the first owner; The customization is completed by the presence of labels, evidence of the journeys made by the trunk and its owners. Restored and brought back to original condition. Louis Vuitton trunks, iconic furnishing and collectible objects, are still resistant and waterproof today, examples of great craftsmanship.

1935 ca.

Louis Vuitton malle armoire trunk dating back to around 1935, restored to its original condition. It is a Malle Armoire, a wardrobe trunk that opens vertically into two parts, featuring an internal section with one or more compartments and a wardrobe section for hanging clothes. Made for both ladies and gentlemen, these trunks can be entirely wardrobe-style or composed of compartments only. In this specific case, the interior houses the wardrobe section and shoe compartment on one side, and six drawers on the other. Furthermore, access to the wardrobe section is made easier by the ability to open part of the upper short side. Covered in Monogram canvas, a fabric featuring rosette and monogram motifs (“LV”), invented in 1896 by Georges Vuitton, son of Louis. The hardware is brass, the locks and nails are branded, the finishes are lozine and wood, and the handles are leather. The initials "VSG" set in a diamond pattern on one of the short sides, provide information about the first owner. The interior is lined in canvas and equipped with hangers. The lock bears the unique number (075125). The Malle armoire is a true travel piece, its ingenuity coming from its internal layout, which allowed clothes to be transported hanging without creasing. Louis Vuitton trunks, iconic pieces of furniture and collectibles, remain durable and waterproof today, examples of great craftsmanship.
