The slightly curved front lends dynamism to the structure, which is enhanced by three large drawers and an additional drawer beneath the drop-leaf door. The drop-leaf door, supported by a pair of pulls, opens onto an internal storage compartment consisting of a central open compartment and four side drawers, ideal for organizing documents and small items. The uprights are arranged at a forty-five-degree angle, while the truncated pyramid plinth feet ensure stability and style. The fir interior highlights the quality of the construction. Minor flaws do not compromise the overall integrity of the piece. Carefully restored, the bureau retains the charm of the past, making it an authentic antique piece.

Late 19th century Capuchin style secretaire. Made of oak and veneered in walnut briar, it has 4 drawers, one in the undertop groove and a flap door containing architectural cabinet in maple and briar root with drawers and open compartment, door top covered in Moroccan.

18th Century / 1701 - 1800

Piedmontese drop-leaf secretaire supported by shelf shaped feet; it has 3 frontal drawers surmounted by a folding door that hides drawers and a central open compartment. Veneered wood with Bois de violette threads, poplar interiors and walnut internal compartments.

18th Century / 1701 - 1800

Baroque drop-leaf secretaire of Tuscan production supported by curved legs; the inferior band is moulded both on the front and on the sides; it has two drawers surmounted by a folding door that hides a compartment with shelf and drawers. Veneered in olive tree with ebonized threads. The internal writing surface is finished with the same motives; inside in silver fir and poplar. The cabinet has sockets with enameled medallions representing landscapes; the vents are a later addition.

Third Quarter XVIII Century

Secrétaire supported by wavy feet, on the front it has two doors surmounted by an opening flap door concealing a cabinet with large central compartment and side drawers; there is a drawer in the undertop band. Walnut interior, it is entirely veneered with mahogany reserves and edging in bois de violette and bois de rose, the cabinet is entirely veneered in bois de rose; marble top. It needs restorations.

Northern France, Second Half XIX Century

Elm burl secretaire. Base with three drawers plus one in the molding, surmounted by a drop-leaf door concealing a bois de rose cabinet, with an open compartment and a group of six drawers and two secret compartments. Leather insert on the inside of the drop-leaf, upper drawer in the band under the top, black marble top. Oak interior, plinth legs. Northern France, second half of the 19th century.
