Description

Oil on canvas. Classic representation of a biblical theme typical of many paintings. In the middle, Jesus is depicted while soaring with the standard of victory. The light is bathed and overhanging the figures of the guards, who are leaning at the foot of the sepulchre, shocked and scared. The canvas is aged and shows some color losses. Gilded frame. 17th century.
