Oil on canvas. The scene depicts a female figure trying to conclude a purchase at the stand. The painting is based on strong light and shadow effects; in fact the woman and the seller's faces are enlightened by the lantern hanging behind him, while the other two people stay in the dark and we can see only two black shapes next to the woman. Flemish School. Restored, it is presented in an adjusted revival frame. 19th century.
