Oil on plywood. Signed at the bottom left. Large dimensions, the painting depicts a glimpse of Lake Como from a location situated between Lierna and Varenna. A building with flowers is depicted on the left part of the painting. To the right, you can see the promontory of Bellagio and on the opposite bank, the mount Calbiga. The presence of the characteristic boat, the Lucia, confirms the location. Giordani was born in Sicily and studied first in Venice and then, from 1908 to 1909 in Milan with Cesare Tallone, who was also his teacher. The painting is in excellent condition and characterized by intense and vivid colors applied with the spatula. In frame. Early 20th century.
