Oil painting on canvas. Signature and date (924) in the lower right corner. Pleasant and refined portrait of rich men: his ring bearing - probably - a crest stands out as well as the antique furniture behind him. The artist is Luigi Brignoli, painter from Bergamo who studied at Carrara Academy with Tallone at first and at Brera Academy then. He was appreciated for his landscapes of Lombard tradition and was an esteemed portraitist. On the back, label belonging to Galleria Pesaro in Milan. The painting is presented in beautiful coeval gilded frame. 1924.
