Oil painting on canvas. Good reproduction of the famous painting by the artist from Bologna Giuseppe Maria Crespi (XVII-XVIII sec), an ironical artist lover of genre scenes. It depicts a charming girl holding a cat and a rose. The symbolic meaning is clear: both the animal and the flower are beautiful, soft and delicate but they both can be dangerous too. The claws and thorns represent the dangers of love. In revival gilded frame. 20th century.
