Vittorio Botticini was born in Brescia, was formed between Brescia and the River, where his teacher Annibale Scaroni. He enrolled later at the Accademia Cignaroli of Verona, where he was among the teachers, Angelo Dall'oca Bianca. Returning to Brescia, he found employment as a laborer, but continued to cultivate the painting. Botticini was strongly linked to the territory and therefore the lessons of the great masters of brescia and veneto, but he was also capable of escaping from the risk of a size provincialistica through the opening toward everything that came from outside, starting from the examples of the international avant-garde, leading to a unique fusion of echoes cézanniani and picassiani, and landing on a post-cubism lyric: he abandoned the landscapes and the figures to which he had dedicated initially to the attention of the naturalism, to go to the works dominated by the strict geometries, where form breaks down and is rearranged in the spaces marked out by grids. The proposed work, it still belongs to the period of nature. It is presented in a frame.
