Oil on canvas. The scene refers to an episode in the bible that has as its protagonist a young woman, subjected to a test of her faith, as is suggested by his attitude of submission to the divine will (his arms wide open, eyes turned to the sky), as is tempted by two of the elders, in the midst of the crowd, who observes. The work requires restoration, for restoring the color. It is presented in a golden frame of the early '900.
