The first performance of the Sonnambula took place right on the stage of the Carcano Theater on March 6, 1831 with the legendary Giuditta Pasta in the role of the protagonist. The chronicles of the theater report for the resumption of the opera of 1833 Maria Malibran in the role of Amina, but in our libretto the role is supported by Fanny Tacchinelli Persiani.
