Description

Rare first edition of this first work by one of the female protagonists of the Futurist movement. Benedetta Cappa, painter, Marinetti's wife, whom she met in the studio of her master Guido Balla in 1918, published three novels in the Futurist style, but is especially important for her contribution in the field of painting (in 1929 she was among the signatories of the Manifesto of futurist aeropainting and participated in all the most important experiments and exhibitions of futurist art since 1920). In this novel, Benedetta's first work (as she signed herself, both as a writer and as an artist), the text is accompanied by nt and ft graphic summaries that want to represent the moods that move the story narrated. The book was presented by Marinetti himself in Paris, at the Sorbonne, in 1924, with words of exaltation for its author. First edition with false indication Second thousand
