Description : Paesaggio con figure

Oil on wooden board. Northern European school of the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. An almost bucolic countryside landscape, with leafy trees on the left, a stream crossed over by the bridge on the right and some figures of wayfarers on the path, which is lost in the distant background surmounted by white clouds in the blue sky: the scene conveys tranquility and serenity of nature. The work is presented in an 18th century frame, adapted to the size.
