Italy Late 19th – Early 20th Century

Corner sofa from the Liberty period. The sofa is made as a corner, with wavy armrests and surmounted by an asymmetrical structure with shelves supported by whiplash motifs and a small compartment with a glass door in the center. The mahogany surface is decorated with brass plates with floral motifs, cut out and finely engraved. The Liberty motif is not only in the shape of the furniture but also in the decorations and the glass windows.
