Brown spots and abrasions on the plates; edge abrasions; serious peeling at the corners. Burnished cuts with dust spots. Well preserved papers with brown spots of different shapes and sizes scattered throughout the text. In the first volume: signature of ownership of the cap; slight pencil drawings and writings in 4, 5.8, 8.5, 9.4. In the second volume: ink writings in the buttonhole, in 3.2 and 3.3; written in pencil in 1 and on the previous page (page 4); pencil drawing in 4.3; underlining in pencil in 6.4; written in pencil, partly erased, in 6.7 and 6.8.
