France, Late XIX Century

Pair of flat plates, in earthenware, decorated with a motif of polychrome flower bouquets. A blue festoon runs along the edge, repeated in the hollow of the plate to frame a bouquet of flowers.

Italy, Early XIX Century

Cup and saucer in majolica decorated with an “orientalizing tapestry” motif that features, on the slightly blued glaze, flower bulbs, leaf tufts, butterflies and small insects. In the hollow of the plate and on the body of the cup a clod with western buildings, a castle and trees. Under the bases, the manufacturer’s mark.

Wooden temple clock with alabaster columns and feet, mirrored back and mother-of-pearl applications. Enamelled metal dial with Roman numeral hours protected by glass cover.

Kettle in silver-plated metal, embossed and engraved with leafy scrolls and flowers. Handle depicting a bird of prey, handle with bone inserts and spout with a relief mask and bird's head. Working tilting mechanism. Manufacturer's marks engraved under the base.

Casket covered in painted parchment with polychrome decoration of leafy scrolls. In the reserves fine embroidery depicting bunches of flowers, interior lined in satin. Working lock.
