Vintage Bookcase Design Exotic Wood Veneer Italy 1960s

19th Century / 1801 - 1900

French Empire bookcase, supported by feet, the front ones vase shaped. There are two panelled doors on the front, surmounted by the same amount of drawers in the under the top band, open shelf with a rack. Spotted mahogany veneer, it is decorated with brassed framings, the interiors are in sessile oak.

Wall bookcase that requires anchoring to the wall, with open shelves and storage elements, aluminum and enamelled metal uprights.

France, early 20th century

Mahogany wardrobe embellished with chiseled and gilded bronze appliques and a cornice. The central door features a beveled mirror that projects beyond the two paneled side doors. Three drawers in the base, turned column uprights, and tapered legs. Oak interior. France, early 20th century.

Genoa, Mid XVIII Century

Walnut drop-leaf chest. Three-drawer front, the first of which is in the band under the top. Drop-leaf door conceals an internal cabinet with six drawers and open compartments. Rosewood trim along the entire surface. Some losses. Genoa, mid-18th century.

Vintage Italian-made chest of drawers, repurposed into a bathroom vanity in our restoration workshop; features six drawers with wood and brass handles, black-stained beech legs with brass tips, a black Formica top, mahogany veneer, and a double ceramic sink.

XIX Century

Sideboard veneered in maple, walnut, and mahogany. Curved front doors with a central inlay of various woods depicting musical instruments, notched sides with three open shelves, and turned feet. Engraved and gilded bronze moldings and appliqués throughout. England, 19th century.

Sideboard with sliding doors, one hinged door, and open drawers in teak veneer and Formica with enameled metal legs. This Italian-made sideboard features highly distinctive details: the cream-colored Formica-covered sliding doors, the protruding ebony-stained wood handles, and the teak veneer create a striking color combination that makes this piece truly unique, perfect for a living room with a vintage feel.

Italy, Mid XVIII Century

A mid-18th century Baroque drop-leaf chest of drawers. Made of fir and poplar and clad in walnut with large burl veneer inserts. Curved at the front and supported by curved feet, it features two drawers and a drop-leaf door containing a cabinet with four smaller drawers and an open compartment concealing a secret. The back has been replaced, but the locks are original.

Sideboard restored and painted in our boutique. Made of painted teak, with clean lines and attractive dimensions, it offers ample storage space and functionality without sacrificing style. It features hinged doors and five central drawers with wooden interiors. Perfect for a living room, where understated elegance and Italian craftsmanship complement existing furnishings.
