Italy, Third Quarter XVIII Century

Neoclassical walnut console table. Maple inlays and trim, dark pastiglia on the truncated pyramidal legs. Replaced Verde Alpi marble top. Italy, third quarter of the 18th century.

Lombardy Early 18th Century

Baroque console table in basswood, Lombardy Early 18th century. Marbled molded top, shaped under-top band and uprights, connecting crosspieces. The richly carved console table has reserves, phytomorphic and floral decorations, leafy and “C”-shaped volutes, curls and frets; in the upper part of the uprights mirrored leafy volutes support lambrequins. In the center of the underside band we find a basket containing flowers and plant branches, while just below, in the center of the transom, is a basket containing a fruit and leaves, set within an architecture of volutes with crowned cyma. Replaced top, restorations. This console table is a fine example testifying to the influence of French taste on Lombard Baroque.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Game table veneered in violetwood, bois de violette, and mahogany. Top with a central oval maple inlay depicting flower vases, maple and mahogany trim that continues on the band below the top. The top opens like a book with a central leather insert, floral maple and stained maple inlays in the corners, rosewood and rosewood frames, maple trim, and olive wood inserts. Truncated pyramidal legs in mahogany and ebony. Italy, late 18th century.

Dining or office table with a large rectangular top in burl veneer and walnut band, and architecturally shaped white marble legs. Good condition.

England, Mid XIX Century

Large library table, England mid-19th century, victorian period. A turned support supported by four sabre-shaped legs serves as a support for the circular top. The top is covered in red leather, worked with gilded motifs, has 4 drawers in the band alternating with four false drawer spaces. The supports are made of mahogany and veneered in the under-top band on the mahogany top with a carved end-grain wood edge. Bronze shoes chiseled in the shape of a feline paw, with brass wheels, Bronze drawer handles in the shape of a rosette, original brass-plated locks.

Vintage table of Italian manufacture with metal legs and top veneered in different wood essences (mahogany, wenge, ash, jacaranda, cherry, Tanganyika) finished with transparent matt lacquer. Finished edge.
