Carved Oak Fireplace Frame

Fireplace surround and mirror in carved oak according to the neo-Renaissance taste in vogue between the 19th and 20th centuries. Two columns with carved lion protomes support the fireplace shelf on which the mirror rests. The mirror is also carved with twin columns on the pilaster strips and the carved face of a monkey on the cymatium.

XIX Century

Mahogany étagère, turned and carved legs culminating with upper knob and lower castors, two shelves. Reduced in height. England, 19th century.

Argentina, Late XIX Century

Large mahogany wall clock, made for a railway station, a hall in a public building or a bank. Enriched with floral carvings, scrolls and festoons, a cymatium culminating with a central vase. Round dial. Missing parts. Argentina, late 19th century.

France

Tower clock from the late 19th century, called "morbier". It is made of fir painted in fake wood with floral designs, with the typical mandolin shape, the clock has the typical dial surmounted by a decorative motif made of embossed and gilded sheet metal, in this case, depicting a hunter with a dog. The face is enameled with the hours in Roman numerals, contemporary pendulum and weights.

Austria, Early XX Century

Thonet coat stand, Austria, early 20th century. Made of beech with three feet to support a central upright on which 3 hangers rest, branded under the leg. Thonet is the most important company and the first to produce furniture in bent beech using the steam technique. It will be followed and imitated by numerous companies.

Magazine rack in turned and gilded wood, panels covered in hand-embroidered silk with floral and leaf motifs. Italy, 19th century.

Walnut chest, front and sides with maple, walnut burl and walnut fillets and inlays. Bracket feet, back and bottom in oak. Italy, second half of the 19th century.

England, Victorian Era (Late XIX Century)

English folding ladder, late 1900s. Made of mahogany with the tops covered in "Moroccan" leather with gold edges. When closed it looks like a stool with the tops still finished in leather, turned feet.

Cherry urn-shaped chest, fold-down top concealing internal wood storage compartment, wavy feet. Italy, mid-19th century.

France Second Fourth XIXth Century

Restoration dressing table finished in a day entirely veneered with mahogany feather, France, second quarter of the 19th century. Stand with pair of side drawers and tilting mirror, top in white marble with tray, drawer in the band containing Moroccan insert placed on a sliding wooden panel; column rear legs, moved front legs, the latter ending with lion feet in gilded bronze resting on a shaped base with wheels. Decorated with leaves and floral elements in chiseled gilt bronze. Mahogany and poplar interior.

Hanging plate rack

Hanging plate rack, made in the early 1900s, probably originated as a support for a sideboard, made of fir with support shelves and holding strips for the plates.

Decorative bird cage, with side table, made of mahogany wood in the shape of a temple with spires and opening doors, with wire mesh. The turned and unturned parts are carved to make the architecture of the cage as realistic as possible.
