The Coffee Table is a very versatile and sought-after piece of furniture. Its history begins in bourgeois and aristocratic living rooms. They are a natural evolution of tables and consoles. During the Renaissance, they were simple trestles with a wooden top placed on them. Their simplicity was due to the fact that they were always covered with luxurious tablecloths.
