The clock has a large gilded bronze base on which a porcelain vase rests where the clock case is inserted. Enamelled metal dial with hours in Roman numerals and minutes in Arabic numerals, in the center the writing "Bardon", the manufacturer's trademark. Finely pierced bronze hands. Mechanism marked Vincent & C.ie Medaille d'Argent, 1855.

Under the clock there is a medallion with a soldier's head and a vase with cameos at the top. Gilded bronze pendulum with lion head in relief.
