Polychrome majolica tea set consisting of a teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug and six cups with saucers. Decorated with a daisy motif and stylised figures in calligraphic style. Under the bases the brand of the manufacturer "la casa dell'arte".

Italy, Late XIX Century

Large polychrome majolica crater vase with snake-shaped handles. Historiated decoration with mythological subject: "The Rape of Proserpina", also depicting Lake Pergusa where according to Greek mythology Pluto abducted Proserpina in the presence of her mother Ceres. Also depicted is the chariot with which Pluto took Proserpina to the underworld as his wife.

Majolica plate decorated in monochrome blue. The plate features a branch of flowers with large blue petals in the hollow.

Italy, 1880 ca.

Earthenware plate, decorated in strong polychromy: the rim is adorned with the “buranello” lace motif in black, while the bottom of the plate features the figure of a hunter with his dogs. The pictorial formula is particularly rich with the usual sponging to accelerate the green coloring of the bushes and tree branches. The freehand painted figure is respectful of the Venetian tradition.

Burma, Early XX Century

Pair of Burmese wooden figures depicting two Nats "of the spirits of the places". Expertly carved in solid wood, with subtle and precious decorations on the robes and serene expressions.

Large ceramic sculpture in art nouveau style depicting a gallant couple walking. Very realistic and accurate plasticity of the clothes and well-characterized faces. At the base impressed mark, initials of Brothers Urbach, brothers who worked in Teplitz Bohemia.

France, Late XIX Century

Majolica flowerpot with large expanded cup, supported by a square base enriched by four scrolled feet. Polychrome decoration, with raised parts, in shades of blue and orange.
