High fire majolica shaving basin in monochrome shades of blue. Oval in shape with expanded rim. Decoration depicting a mythological scene of Venus rising from the water on two dolphins, supported by Cupid. The scene takes place in a fantastic landscape with villages of houses and mountains. Manufacture mark under the base.

Brand in red under the base. Japan Meiji period circa 1910.

Small Chinese polylobed ko sometsuke saucer with triangular plan, decorated in blue underneath with a peach, a pomegranate, a lemon "Citrus medica" also known as Buddha's hand and an ideogram symbol of longevity. Three bats decorate its brim.

Ginger jar with lid decorated in blue underneath with ideograms of conjugal happiness, on a continuous background of leafy plant racemes and peony flowers.
