Coffee Table

Elegant Art Deco gueridon centerpiece from the early 20th century. From a round base inlaid with fine and elegant maple and ebony purfling, a quadripartite upright with four turned columns extends, embellished with small mother-of-pearl circles in the center; the round top likely originally held a fabric with Art Deco decorations, protected by the still-present crystal.

England Third Quarter of the XIX Century

Tray table, England, second half of the 19th century. Made of finely chased and gilded bronze with a papier maché top. Four uprights in the shape of a winged dragon with a goat's foot, connected to each other by a crosspiece with a pinnacle, support a top embellished with gilded bronze applications in the rocaille style. The tray is signed "Jennet & Bettridge London" surmounted by a crown. This is one of the most important manufacturers of furniture and objects made of papier maché, a company that has exhibited at the most important universal exhibitions of the 19th century. On the cover of the book "japanned papier maché and tinware" there is a drawing of the Universal Exhibition of 1851, depicting the Jennens & Bettridge stand.

Bar trolley, made in the early 1900s; Brass structure with wheels and shelves and doors in mahogany and glass. The tray top can be raised while the sides open like a tray, on the top railing and brass sockets. Plate "abbrica Mobili artistici - ditta Bachi e Treves di Emilio Treves - via Carlo Alberto, 12 Turin". The company is one of the most popular at the beginning of the century in Turin, it also participates in the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative Art of 1902 in Turin.
