Tying the old in half-leather with title and decorations in gold on a piece in the back in bad condition: spelature to the dishes, the lack of the bottom corner outside of the front plate, leather of spine worn, especially at hinges and to the headphones. Cards internal are very problems: the title page and the first 5 cc features a dramatic restoration of cc. Lined the outer edge) with a brown dot and the loss of a small portion of the text; this first booklet then presents errors of pagination (c. *2 after *4; *5-6 *7; ***1-7 after ****1) and a flashy gora humidity that affects virtually the entire surface of the dc. The whole of the First Part (notebooks A-M) has scattered brown patches no.t. of different size and intensity (but only in B3verso is compromised the legibility of the text); the frequency of these spots is considerably reduced, starting from the second Part of the text (notebooks AA-BB especially in black); also, note the gore of humidity in the marginal (upper margin of the cc: E7-K6; BB2-BB8; inner margin of the cc: H6-I1; the external margin of the cc: MMM2-OOO2) and minimum marginal notes in pen in RR4, DDD6, and EEE2

Beautiful brand typography (an olive tree) in the title-page; beautiful initials engraved in elegant font cursive. The author, who died around 1130, is considered among the major canonists byzantines for its commentaries to the canons, apostolic, conciliar, and patristic. In its Epitomé Istorion Zonara, who was able to avail itself of a number of sources since lost, differs from the methods of the chroniclers of byzantine precedents for the clarity of the reviews above some of the figures of byzantine history closest to the time of his judge, so, with extreme severity, the emperor Nicephorus, the usurper of the throne of Irene, and the two Basili emperors of the East, while it enhances John Zimisce. For his merits in the history of Zonara served as a model for the chroniclers of byzantine rear, Constantine Manasseh, Michael Glica, Ephraim, as well as to historians slavs, as it was soon translated into Serbian and Russian.
