After his studies at the Institute of higher artistic industries (isia of Monza and the liceo artistico di Brera, in 1941 he enrolled at the Faculty of architecture of the Polytechnic of Milan, following a training course that continues for a long time and during which Belotti alternates several work experiences. One of his most important works is the Spaghetti chair (1980), the famous chair in steel and PVC that is also entered in the permanent collections of the MoMa in New York and the Triennale Design Museum of Milan.
