Turned central leg rests on three saber-shaped feet culminating in a curl and brass spheres, one of which is missing. England, 19th century.

Threads and ivy entwinement in various woods, which are repeated on the band beneath the top. Truncated conical legs joined by a crosspiece with a central spandrel.
