A neo-Renaissance style high chair with a perforated front panel, seat and back upholstered in red velvet, with ends carved with monstrous protomes, in walnut, accompanied by three Rococo style chairs, with sabre legs and open backrests.

Italy, XVIII Century

Wing sofa in ebonized walnut, supported by curved legs, armrests with leaf carvings and curl. Padded seat, back and armrests. Italy, 18th century.

4 Mahogany Chairs

Four chairs from the first half of the 19th century, made of mahogany, have turned front legs with the front band of the seat partially carved, the backrest is open with a central carved folder like the upper one in which a compartment for the grip of the chairs is perforated. The model is derived from English chairs of the same period.

Chiavari, Late XIX Century

Five "chiavarine" chairs from the end of the 19th century. Made of maple, super light, they have the typical turned workmanship on the legs and the rods of the backrest. Cane seat. These chairs were very successful in the 19th century for their design and lightness, and were exported all over the world; not only very popular, but considered elegant, they can be found in all European palaces.

Austria, Late XIX Century

Group of bent beech chairs made in the second half of the 19th century by the J & J Kohn company. This is the company founded in 1849 by the two brothers Jacob and Josef Kohn who began to make bent beech chairs and export them all over the world, quickly becoming the major competitors of Thonet production. The company merged with Mundus in 1914 and then with Thonet in 1921. Made of bent beech with an open back with typical curves, the seats are cane-covered.
