Louis XVI chest of drawers in walnut, front with four drawers of which the first two are placed side by side in the band under the top. Slightly curved truncated pyramid legs, interior in fir. Inlays and fillets added later to embellish the piece of furniture, handles in gilded metal added later. France, late 18th century.

Lombardy, Early XVIII Century

Baroque chest of drawers in walnut from Lombardy. Curved front with four drawers veneered in walnut root and threaded in maple. The band under the top is decorated with gilded lambrequins, as are the uprights and the 45-degree feet. Ebonized moldings, interiors in fir. Handles and escutcheons replaced. Lombardy, first quarter of the 18th century.

Piedmont, XIX Century

Walnut chest of drawers, three drawer front, turned and gouged uprights, truncated conical feet, ebonized mouldings and gouging. Bardiglio grey marble top (Valadieri quarry). Piedmont, 19th century.

Sicily, XVIII Century

Baroque chest of drawers in fir veneered in bois de rose and mahogany. Front and sides are curved as is the balustrade, front with three drawers alternating with Spanish paper gouges, escutcheons, handles and applications in burnished metal. Grey marble top. Missing parts. Sicily, 18th Century.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Pair of neoclassical chests of drawers veneered and inlaid according to the taste of the period, made in Emilia at the end of the 18th century. Composed of three drawers resting on the front, one smaller under the top and two larger ones, built with a hidden chain in order to offer a continuous surface convenient for the inlay. Structure in fir veneered in various woods among which the striped walnut pedulle dominates in the wide fields, surrounded by a series of borders in olive, cypress and plum surrounded by maple fillets. On the front and on the tops are inserted classic vases with ring handles and large ribbed lid, made of boxwood and maple. The pairs of chests of drawers are rare and suitable for furnishing a modern room to which they add warmth and flavor of the time.

Rococo style chest of drawers with two drawers, curved and rounded in all its parts, supported by four high legs, it is completely carved with rocaille motifs over the entire surface, lacquered in beige and ochre tones with painted bouquets of flowers.

Italy, Late XVIII Century

Antique neoclassical chest of drawers, late 18th century. Supported by truncated pyramidal feet, it has three drawers on the front with a resting stop, made of fir wood and veneered in walnut with olive and maple borders and floral inlays in maple; top made later, back with rear addition of non-contemporary plywood.

Finely chiseled and gilded bronze escutcheons and applications. Ebonized feral feet and gilded leaf carvings. Top in gray Bardiglio marble. Iron locks with visible brass plate, that of the second drawer with double lock to close the first. Probable production of Manfredini bronzes. Milan, early 19th century.
