Description
28 black-and-white drawings by Bruno Munari: the front of the cards depict forks, and the back features the author's captions in Italian, English, French, and Japanese. The Japanese text on page 11 (the only numbered page) was written by Katzky Iwabuchi and translates to "One thing leads to another." The introductory text reads: "These variations on the fork, or rather on the fork as an 'extension' of the hand and, ultimately, as a hand, were drawn by Bruno Munari without any practical purpose, simply to let his imagination run wild on a seemingly arid theme, but within the context of a typically European structural problem, to establish a language that guarantees recovery."
