The console table is a Wall Table. It is one of the pieces of furniture that best adapts to any type of room. It can be placed in the entrance, bedroom, living room, hallway, and even the study. The Entrance Console is very useful for placing house keys or simply for keeping the shopping list handy. Whatever use you make of it, it is always useful to have a console as a Utility Furniture. In the bedroom, a Console with Mirror is often preferred. It is especially used by women to freshen up in the evening before going to bed. The console can also be used simply to enhance the rooms of your home. An Elegant Console placed against a wall to create a classy atmosphere. In this catalog, you can choose from many Antique, Mid-century, and Designer Consoles.

Antique Consoles

The Antique Consoles were mainly decorative rather than functional furniture. They were meant to embellish rooms, which required great attention to detail. The most skilled artisans enjoyed carving furniture in the most unique ways to make them prestigious and one-of-a-kind. Depending on the historical period, the region, and the socio-political context in which the cabinetmakers worked, various styles can be identified. Consoles—and furniture in general—were produced with different types of wood, shapes, and decorations. The Antique Consoles were meant for decorative purposes; their tops, generally made of marble, were used to display ornamental objects such as bronzes, small sculptures, clocks, porcelain pieces, vases, and much more. In our catalog, you can find all kinds: Classic Consoles, Living Room Consoles, Neoclassical Consoles, Marble-Top Consoles, Baroque Consoles, Style Consoles, Bedroom Consoles, Living Room Consoles, and more.
Browse our catalog and enjoy finding the Antique Console you’ve always wanted while exploring the many styles that define Di Mano in Mano's Antique Collection.
What styles are available?
Art Déco, Barocchetto, Charles X, Directoire, Eclecticism, Empire, Neoclassical, and Restoration.

Mid-century Consoles

During the 20th century, the concept of furniture changed. It shifted from Furniture to Beautify the Home to Functional Furniture. Furniture was no longer meant to represent one’s social class but rather to be useful for everyday activities. All elaborate decorations were set aside in favor of designs with clean lines. The Modern Consoles were mass-produced using new materials and colors. For this reason, they can be easily distinguished from Antique Consoles. We offer you a selection of Mid-century and Designer Consoles, perfect to pair with a beautiful mirror.
For over 20 years, our cooperative has been one of the largest entities involved in the purchase and sale of Antique, Mid-century, and Designer Furniture. If you are interested in selling a Used Console, don't hesitate to contact us for a valuation of your console. But that’s not all. All the products visible on our website are also available for rental. Find out more about this service on the dedicated website. You’ll discover many unique and original objects, perfect for every type of occasion!
In our catalog, you’ll find special Mid-century Consoles such as 1950s Consoles and 1980s Consoles—very different from each other, but both equally beautiful!
