Europe Second Half of the 20th Century

Pair of gilded metal and porcelain lampshades with polychrome flower decorations. Lampshade in milky white and green glass decorated with appliques and engravings.

Italy Mid 1900s approx.

Wooden skis with Kandahar bindings in the spring variant. In 1932 the Swiss Reuge patented the Kandahar attachment with a metal spring cable and front tightening lever. Innovative thanks to its robustness and versatility, this attack will have a huge diffusion for at least a couple of decades, establishing itself as an absolute standard.

Oval-shaped torchon-shaped silver centerpiece. On the edge engraved marks of silver and of the silversmith of Padua but not identified. Grams 280.

19th Century / 1801 - 1900

Planetarium consisting of a gilded brass base, equipped with seven brass arms, on which the wooden planets are grafted, accompanied by their satellites; the larger solar globe is in ivory. The planetarium can be placed in the first half of the nineteenth century, that is, before the discovery of Neptune (1846) and its identification as the eighth planet.

Centerpiece in chiseled and perforated silver. Bowl in ground glass. Silver and silversmith marks engraved on the central part of the edge. Grams 273.

Jewellery box in beaten and chiselled silver supported by four feet. Wavy edge, applied bouquets of flowers. Artificial oval stone in the centre of the lid on a leafy scroll mount. Silver and silversmith marks engraved under the base. 365 grams.
